The carillon in Bodø has 50 bells and is the world's northernmost carillon. It was inaugurated in 2012 and plays every hour between 9am and 6pm. Jon Øyvind Næss has composed the signature sound.
The carillon is produced in the Netherlands. The 50 bells weigh a total of 18 tons. It is the carillon in Norway that has the most bells.
