"As a 4-year-old boy, Albert was already standing by his father's forge. Once he was old enough he became his assistant. He successfully completed his HBO engineering studies, made it his profession and also took over the forge from his father. For years he combined 3D engineering in high-tech mechanical engineering with the forge. In 2017, he decided to devote himself completely to his passion, exclusive ironwork.
And Albert Hoefakker does that very well. Blacksmith's fire and steel have no secrets for him. He masters every conceivable technique and with the help of hammer and anvil he makes the most beautiful, completely unique objects. Ornaments, decorative letters on facades, wind roses, monumental wall anchors, bases for tables, in short, the sky is the limit.
The strong point of this ambitious blacksmith is his approach. He literally takes care of everything. From idea to implementation, from design to installation. And if you would like to have something forged but you don't know exactly in which style, Albert has a lot of documentation.
For the layman, temperatures of up to 1300 C° are unbearable. Albert doesn't know any better. He is ambitious, enthusiastic, pleasant company and enjoys talking about his passion. Contractors and restorers run away with this all-rounder for whom no challenging assignment goes too far."
