The coffee stand is located behind and southwest of the Hurley Administration Building, and behind the College of Music on the east side. Be very careful as to where you park, and unless you're a student or with one, or you have a handicapped tag, it's best to avoid the temptation of parking in one of the nearby lots. Most conscience-free parking is off-campus on Hickory St to the north, but you'll find the occasional spot here and there. Not only is the University protective of spots designated for students, there's often certain rackets that are played out to generate revenue. No, there's no official free parking, and they want a few bucks for just the first hour in the lot by the Student Union.

This is a walk-up location with no seating of its own. It has a handicapped ramp and is near the Library Mall in the heart of the university campus. There are plenty of places to sit behind the Student Union and the Mall where you can take your drink and enjoy the scenery.
During school season, beware of lines like you've never seen at a Starbucks, but take comfort in knowing that the Starbucks inside the Student Union is even busier.
There's no free wi-fi provided by Starbucks, but students will have access to the University's password-protected network. You'll have to ask them as to the details and the signal strength.

Review:
This location was to have opened in 2020, but the pandemic had other plans. I took the gallery photos while walking the campus a year ago, and saw recently that the coffee stand had finally opened. I parked some distance away to come over here, and probably waited in line for fifteen minutes on what turned out to be the second day of school for the "kids" at UNT.
They were completely out of refreshers and nonfat milk. I opted for the easiest drink they could make, which turned out to be a caffè latte with half-and-half, knowing I was about to walk off a lot of it. Service is really good, and while they told me that they didn't have a tip jar, I told them "You do now!" as I handed off a little something. They deserve it for dealing with those long lines and being friendly about it.
