Loop 322 on the east side of Abilene had been named the Officer Rodney T Holder Memorial Highway. Officer Holder was a 28 year veteran police officer. Prior to joining the Abilene Police Department he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the 82nd Airborne for four years.
