Village Green Sundial - West Cowick, UK - Made for the Millennium on Waymarking.com

The dial is mounted horizontally on a stone pedestal. An engraving on the dial indicates that it was made by Silas Higgon.

The townships of Cocwick and Snaith were joined in 1851 and an inscription on the pedestal has the following information.

This sundial was provided

to celebrate
