NB: "Everybody knows" that, when she was still Vickie Lynn Hogan, Anna Nicole Smith worked at a Sonic Drive-In in Mexia, but the reality is that she didn't. Originally from Houston, she moved here while in the ninth grade to live with an aunt, but she didn't last long in school, dropping out as a sophomore. For a spell, she worked just down the street at Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken before moving onto her career as someone famous. You're not going to see any signs as you come into town, noting her past, and the locals really don't mention her or embrace her as one of their own.
