The Asa Wolverton House in Paris. Built in 1851, it served as a terminus for on the Underground Railroad for escaping slaves.

From the Brant County Library:

"The Wolverton House is a Greek Revival style house located in Paris. It was built in the early 1850s and is located in what was the earliest residential area in Paris. The house was part of the underground railroad, serving as a destination for former slaves."

The house has seen many owners over the years, eventually serving as A Bed and Breakfast before being purchased by the current owners.
