This Madonna of the Trail Monument is located on 4th and Marble NW Street in Albuquerque,New Mexico.
Dedicated on September 27,1928
Keynote Speaker Judge Harry S. Truman,President of the Old National Trails Association.
Rededicated September 27,1978.
Rededicated September,27,1998 and moved to its current location on 4th and Marble NW.

This Monument to the Mothers of the Covered Wagon days reminds us of whence we came. The turmoils and troubles Today are nothing like the those these women endured along the trail. The way west was blazed right past this very spot. We can now journey along to visit the history of their passing and ours this way along the National Old Trails Road of life.
