[FR] Sur le toit d'une maison située à l'angle de la Rue de la République et la Rue de Saint-Venant, vous pouvez voir cette girouette unique.
La girouette est réalisée en fer forgé. Elle représente un oriflamme, dont les "ondulations" lui valent une représentation dynamique dans le vent. Cet oriflamme est placé au sommet d'une pique. En-dessous, une croix directionnelle est fixée : elle est pourvue des directions des quatre points cardinaux, permettant de connaître la direction du vent grâce à la position de l'oriflamme.

The weather vane is made of wrought iron. It represents a banner, whose "undulations" give it a dynamic representation in the wind. This banner is placed at the top of a spike. Below, a directional cross is fixed: it is provided with the directions of the four cardinal points, allowing the direction of the wind to be known thanks to the position of the banner.
