Jachthaven Hindeloopen is situated right next to the historic town of Hindeloopen. Hindeloopen is one of the eleven cities that are visited in the Elfstedentocht, a skating competition of more than 200 km. This can only be run if the entire route has been frozen over with natural ice.
The port has a capacity of approximately 450 berths. The boats can also be stored in storage sheds in winter. These have a capacity of approximately 5,400 m2.
