Many birds and marine life can be seen on the North Sea coast near Zoutelande in the Dutch province of Zeeland. An information board was set up on top of the dike to protect against storm surges and explains the most common species of birds (such as seagulls, oystercatchers and cormorants) and fish (such as herring, cod and plaice) in short sentences, easy to understand and with pictures.
