At the cemetery of Sct. Johannis Church in Femarhn Island you wil find this beautiful piece of art. A body sized grieving woman at a broken column. The sculpture is located close to the main entrance of the church.
It seems to be made of some kind of concrete. It has some cracks.
The only text on this piece of art is seen on the backside:
"H Pohlmann jee"
My guess is that H Pohlmann was the name of the buried and "jee" are the initials of the artist.
I suppose it was located on a grave which has been closed and now relocated to a central position on the cemetery.
