The plaque says, "Throughout his life, Frederick Y. Ward (1928-2009) demonstrated a commitment to Main Street and the Town of Bel Air. He was instrumental in pioneering the revitalization of Main Street and his company, Frederick Ward Associates, has been an integral part of business life in Downtown since its founding in 1955. His energy and enthusiasm left their mark on Bel Air and will for years to come."
