D’origine française, Adrien Bobin est un sculpteur et un tailleur de pierre reconnu par le Conseil des métiers d’arts du Québec et œuvrant depuis 2002 dans le domaine de la sculpture architecturale et artistique. On retrouve ses sculptures sur plusieurs bâtiments prestigieux, comme le Parlement du Québec et le Parlement du Canada. C’est son perfectionnement par compagnonnage pendant 5 ans qui lui permet d’acquérir une riche expérience et un vaste savoir-faire dans le travail de la pierre. C’est en 2012, à Saint-Jean-de-l’Île-d’Orléans, qu’Adrien Bobin ouvre son atelier. Adrien Bobin s’inscrit comme porteur d’un savoir qui, jumelé à la maîtrise des techniques, lui permet aujourd’hui de repousser les limites de la matière afin de donner une harmonie et une légèreté à ce matériau noble et éternel qu’est la pierre.

«Révolution», c’est la définition du mouvement, de la boucle, c’est la représentation d’une flèche du temps, mais aussi d’une fenêtre sur l’existence, de ce qui vit, de ce qui meurt, de ce qui a été, de ce qui est et de ce qui sera. On ne peut parler du temps sans évoquer l’histoire de la pierre, elle-même façonnée par le temps pendant des millions d’années, une échelle qui nous dépasse en tant qu’être humain et qui nous rend respectueux par sa beauté et sa profondeur.
