Memphis first piston water pump 1900-1950

One of two pumps on the Browder Ranch north of Memphis to pump water to the city of Memphis. These pumps were installed in the 1900's and provided the first water supply until the early 1950's to the citizens of Memphis. The 25hp pumps were powered by kerosene and were constant volume pumps.
