The wind harp on the pier in Hou harbor is a sculpture by the artist Bjarne Jerup Høj.
The sculpture consists of the bow of 2 scrapped fishing cutters, clad in copper. At the top of the sculpture is the wind harp itself. It consists of 2 birds made of sheet iron. They are placed on top of a funnel with nylon cords in different thicknesses that are set in vibration when the wind passes. The wind harp part is located on the west side of the sculpture, so it only plays by the west wind. One can also stay inside the sculpture and be sheltered from the wind.

When the wind harp was set up in 1994, it was without copper cladding on the fishing boats. But eventually the sculpture was so ruined that in 2021 it got its copper cladding. And that has made it even nicer.
