RUN OF '89
WEST BOUNDARY
At the opening of "Old Oklahoma," April 22, 1889, this was the west line for the run starting at noon. Homesteaders quickly occupied the 2,000,000 acres of the unassigned land and by nightfall thousands of homes had been established and tent cities covered the prairies.
