Locate in the small Florida panhandle community of Ponce de Leon, Florida is a masonic lodge. This lodge chartered in January of 1906 has served the community for over 115 years.
This community of just over 500 full time residents is located in the Florida panhandle in Holmes County. To say the community is small is an understatement as there are no traffic lights in the community. At the time of this posting the lodge has only 40 members with the average age being over 60 years old. But the members are active and provide services to the small community.
The lodge is located on State Road 81 between Interstate 10 and US Highway 90 next to the First Baptist Church and cemetery. It is 40 miles from the Gulf of Mexico with its beautiful, sandy, "World's Most Beautiful Beaches:" Panama City Beach, Destin, and Fort Walton Beach. In addition, Ponce de Leon is halfway between the capital city of Tallahassee on the east, and Pensacola on the west.
