[EN] The tower of Turku Cathedral rises to over a hundred meters and the roof of the cathedral is really high anyway. The old roof has always required a major overhaul. In 1969, when the church was being restored, a builder fell off the roof site next to the sacristy and died. There is still a cross carved in stone. This waymark will take you to that cross. You will find it on the right side of the staircase leading to the sacristy, outside the church. There’s a story involved in this unfortunate accident that takes you to a strange event inside the church.
It is said that the choir director had been left alone in the church after the rehearsals. Suddenly, when he was down in the church, he noticed that someone was climbing upstairs to the railing of the church organ. Embarrassed, the choir director had warned the climber, but then he saw the man jump over the railing of the organ flock and fell toward the floor. The man strangely disappeared before hitting the ground. And no body or trace was found. Was this the same bad-lucky builder who had died similarly in church roof repairs? Was it a replica of the same accident? Is the falling man in eternal loop of death?

Vuonna 1969 kun kirkkoa restauroitiin, putosi kattotyömaalta rakennusmies sakastin viereen ja kuoli. Paikalla on vielä nytkin kiveen hakattu risti. Tämä waymark vie sinut tuon ristin tuntumaan.
