This Lighthouse is an aid to navigation on the south pier of the entrance to Ramsey Harbour.

The lighthouse has a white plate above the entrance with the name "E.T. Bellhouse & Co Manchester" embossed in red lettering.

This lighthouse like the lighthouse on the North Pier was built in the 1880’s but it was completely dismantled in spring 2017 to allow work to be carried out to repair and refresh the cast iron panels, which had suffered extensive corrosion and fractures.
