The former Bank of Australasia was constructed in 1891, the building was auctioned and sold privately in 1916, after which it became the offices of R. Fricker and Co.
The two-storeyed building of random-coursed bluestone has stucco strings, cornice, parapet detail and surrounds to windows. The main corner entrance has a pediment supported by Roman Tuscan columns, the pair of panelled entrance doors have a semi-circular fanlight above.
