Granite monument at the Atlantic Road commemorating those who died at sea. The monument was erected by the Averøy fishing community in the year 2000.
On top of the 2.5 meter high granite stone is a relief carved depicting a pair of folded hands and waves.
Below this is the following text:
In Memory of lost lives at sea.
The thoughts go to all those who traveled out but never came home.
