Accès BioTerre, en collaboration avec la Ville de Victoriaville et le Cégep de Victoriaville, a procédé, le 26 janvier 2018, à l’inauguration officielle des nouvelles infrastructures au parc du Boisé-des-Frères-du-Sacré-Cœur.
Les travaux, totalisant 1,2 million de dollars, ont débuté en juin 2017 et se sont terminés à l’automne 2017. Le Gouvernement du Canada a offert une contribution de 450 000 dollars pour la construction d’un pavillon d’accueil et d’un Centre d’interprétation du verger biologique. Les travaux importants ont aussi permis l’ajout de nouveaux sentiers, d’un belvédère, d’un amphithéâtre extérieur permanent et de deux nouveaux accès au parc.
