L'ancienne aire d'accueil et de parking, non conforme aux normes, a fermé ses portes pour être déplacée trois kilomètres plus au nord, sur un espace entièrement aménagé, sécurisé et balisé, situé sur le territoire de la commune de San-Gavino-di-Carbini. Des meilleures conditions d'accueil C'est d'ailleurs à l'initiative du maire de cette commune, Don Pierre Pietri, qu'a été initiée cette démarche de réhabilitation. Une opération à hauteur de 438 000 euros, réalisée en partenariat avec l'État, la CTC et le conseil général de Corse-du-Sud, dans le cadre du pôle d'excellence rurale. La maîtrise d'ouvrage a, quant à elle, été confiée à la communauté des communes de l'Alta Rocca. « C'est un projet ambitieux de gestion et de valorisation du patrimoine naturel, culturel et touristique, qui va permettre d'accueillir correctement les visiteurs, en leur permettant de stationner en toute sécurité (Ndlr : pour un coût de 3 euros) et de se rendre à la cascade grâce à un itinéraire protégé et balisé », souligne Antoine Greani, le président de la communauté de communes de l'Alta Rocca. La maîtrise d'œuvre a été confiée à l'ONF, qui gère ces terrains, propriété de la collectivité territoriale de Corse. Celle-ci a cédé une concession pour l'exploitation des parkings, des toilettes et du point info à la communauté des communes, ainsi qu'aux deux buvettes (snack) privées et au prestataire d'activité de quad. Restauration, information (en partenariat avec le pôle touristique), activités… Le site de Piscia di Ghjaddu est un exemple réussi de gestion et de valorisation. Pôle d'attractionLe nouveau parking permet le stationnement de 250 véhicules. « Ce qui nous intéressait c'était aussi de gérer l'important flux estival sur ce site et d'assurer une présence sur place en cas de problème », commente Don Pierre Pietri. Cinq employés ont ainsi été recrutés pour assurer l'accueil et l'orientation du public. Une présence humaine sécurisante, présente sur le site six mois de l'année. D'autres projets sont d'ores et déjà en réflexion, incluant notamment le site voisin de la « punta di u diamante », pour faire de ce lieu phare de l'Alta Rocca, un véritable pôle d'attraction en montagne, dans des conditions de confort et de sécurité optimales.
