Buried in the Holliday Burial Ground which was part of the Holliday Farm. The small cemetery is the site of a native American attack on the local settlers during the American Revolutionary War, killing three of the Holliday children. They were buried where they lay.
"Adam Holliday served under Colonel Armstrong and Kittaning 1756, under General Forbes at the capture of Fort Duquesne 1758, under Colonel Bouquet at Fort Pity 1763, built Fort Holliday, assisted in building Fort Fetter, was a member of both the Committee of Safety and of Captain Paxton's Ranging Company of Bedford County 1776" Link
