Inauguré en 1929 par le maire Léopold Nantel, cet imposant édifice a abrité le poste de police et la caserne de pompier jusqu'à sa fermeture en 1990. Aujourd'hui, l'édifice est occupé par un restaurant situé au 377, rue Saint-Georges à Saint-Jérôme.
