Next to the St Vitus church in Hoog Elten is a small cemetery.
At the very back of the cemetery is a large stone cross
On the cross is the Latin phrase: crux christi nustra salus.
That means: the cross of Christ our salvation
The cross is about 3 and a half meters high.
