DE: Am Siegfall in Windecks Stadtteil Schladern direkt neben der Versandhalle des ehmaligen Metallwarenherstellers Elmore befindet sich das Besucherzentrum der Region. Die modernen Glasfassaden des Informationszentrums lassen viel natürliches Licht in das zweigeschossige Gebäude. Während der Öffnungszeiten kann man sich ausführlich über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Erholungsmöglichkeiten beraten lassen und in der Ausstellung vieles über die Geschichte der Region erfahren. Der Großteil des erhältlichen Prospektmaterials ist kostenfrei.
Die Öffnungszeiten sind jeweils Montags bis Freitags vormittags von 8:30 Uhr bis 12:00 Uhr, sowie Montags bis Mittwochs nachmittags 13:30 Uhr bis 15:30 Uhr, Donnerstags nachmittags von 13:30 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr. An den Wochenenden in der Zeit von März bis Ende Oktober ist das Besucherzentrum Samstags von 12 Uhr bis 16 Uhr und Sonntags von 12 Uhr bis 17 Uhr geöffnet.

EN: The region's visitor center is located near the Sieg waterfall in Windeck's Schladern district, right next to the dispatch hall of the former metal goods manufacturer Elmore. The information center's modern glass facades allow plenty of natural light into the two-storey building. During the opening hours, you can get detailed advice about the sights and recreational opportunities and learn a lot about the history of the region in the exhibition. Most of the brochure material available is free of charge.
The opening times are Monday to Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday to Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday afternoons from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On the weekends from March to the end of October, the visitor center is open on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
