The plaque says, "Designed in the Modernistic/Art Deco style, it retains its original design and use as a lodge. Freemasonry in Yuma began in 1900. Lodge #17 was formed in November, 1901.

Dedicated December 1999, by the City of Yuma
for the preservation of our heritage.
