Plus récemment, la Municipalité fit inscrire les noms de marins décédés au cours de la Seconde Guerre mondiale : « Souvenons-nous des trois marins de Deschambault : Roland Julien, Ange-Albert Naud, Clément Montambault, disparus en 1941 sur l’océan Atlantique, Seconde Guerre mondiale 1939-1945 ».
