On this road sign along the road Huizerweg, travellers are welcomed in Bussum. According to the sign Bussum lies in the heart of the region Het Gooi. Acoording to the map next to the slogan, this seems correct. It could also mean that the village is treasured by the rest of the region (double meaning). In my experience however, there are more beatiful villages in the region than Bussum.
