nature and architecture
The Monkey Forest contains a dense and varied vegetation made up of more than 100 different species of trees. Among the green mantle of the forest there are several temples and a cemetery that are carefully guarded by the monkeys that live in the reserve.
The forest is inhabited by more than 340 monkeys , commonly known as long-tailed macaques, belonging to four different groups. Although it is a safe area, it is not advisable to approach the monkeys or feed them , as they can become aggressive.
