De poort zelf stamt uit 1576 en op Monumentendag 2017 werd het gerestaureerde, fameuze Gildenpoortje onthuld op de nieuwe plek aan de Havenstraat in Woerden

in de rechter steunbeer zit een tijdscapsule waarin de winnende tekeningen van de jeugd tekenwedstrijd van 2017 zijn opgeborgen de openings datum is helaas onbekend

The gate itself dates from 1576 and on Monument Day 2017 the restored, famous Gildenpoortje was unveiled at the new location on the Havenstraat in Woerden.

the right buttress contains a time capsule in which the winning drawings of the youth drawing competition of 2017 are stored unfortunately the opening date is unknown
