This is one of three land tracts in the Lake Jesup Conservation Area. The land was purchased by the Saint John's River Water Management District to protect the ecology of Lake Jesup and prevent flooding.

The property consists of a short 1-mile trail loop with an observation tower near the Lake Jesup shoreline.
