The beautiful cantilevered through truss John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge was built in 1963 to carry Interstate 65 between Louisville Kentucky and Clarksville Indiana. In 2016 the bridge was rehabilitated and reconfigured to carry southbound I-65 traffic only, and northbound I-65 traffic would be served by a new bridge.
