Quick Description: The Maaihoeve is an old farm, transformed into a restaurant, next to the Loonse and Drunense Duinen National park. Not only do they cater for humans, but also their four legged friends, judging by the water and food bowls, outside of the Maaihoeve.

Long Description:
About the Maaihoeve, according to their restaurant:

"Rural, that is the Maaihoeve. Not only the location in the picturesque Giersbergen, where there are even more thatched farms, the cakes are also rural. No refined patisserie, but sturdy and tasteful pies, such as the classic farmer's apple pie. Baked with love, with blackberries, raspberries, apples and plums from our own garden. Few added sugars, but pure flavors. The whipped cream is also whipped itself, which is good old-fashioned. Perfectly matching the appearance of the Maaihoeve. Are you coming for lunch? The menu changes in every season and can even change per week, it just depends on what is available in the vegetable garden and what Gonnie feels like making. It's always fresh!

The coffee and tea are also carefully prepared for you. And that is possible because the Maaihoeve is not large. Gonnie monitors her concept closely and likes to keep it small-scale, so that your coffee and tea are always served with taste."
