In June, depends of the SaintWeek, there is the most important fair in Ourense.
During two weeks are many events: concerts, championship of sports, fair, and artificial fires.
Long time ago two sundays at 00:30 h and two Saturdays was a competition in what four pyrotechnics competed for a prize.
Currently only two or one appear, and without competition.
You can see the fires from bridges or road.
In the fair of Ourense they throw the fires from de right part of the river, and in the fair of Santiago (25 July) from the left.
