Yosemite National Park, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, is a natural wonderland-761,170 acres of granite domes, broad meadows, and groves of sequoias and wildflowers. Established on October 1, 1890, the park includes the nation's tallest waterfall.
