An abstract sculpture by Gretchen Lothrop, which was purchased by UCF in 2004 and is displayed alongside a sister sculpture, Tree of Philosophy.

The UCF Public Art directory contains a quote from the artist: "My process is additive, using predominately, but not exclusively, stainless steel. My imagery is often based on music or its corollary – dance, and the paradox of time. I think of my work as haiku – the crystallization of an instant of insight which might otherwise be swept away."
