Several years ago I had stopped by at night time to photograph this store, but Shearwater Plaza was all locked up, and the ALDI signage was not lit up. So I swung by and checked it out. A staff member said that it was built in 2018. It is wheelchair accessible, even with a lift from the underground car park - that entry is accessed from Howard Street. It has free parking, but limited to 3 hours. Pedestrian access is from either Howard Street or King Street.
It seems that all Australian ALDI stores are now trying to stock plastic shopping baskets, for those doing a limited shop. There is alcohol sales from two of the checkouts; and altered Liquor Trading hours on Sundays.
