Baptism font in St Winifred's church, Branscombe. The font dates from the 15th century and is made of the local Beerstone. It has an octagonal bowl with quatrefoil panels that are enriched with four-leaf motifs and shields. Around the base of the bowl is a bold wreath of foliage coming from the mouth of a "green man". The stem is decorated with blind panels.
The font is not original to the this church, it was brought here from East Teignmouth in 1911.
