Little Sahara State Park - Wynoka, OK - Metal Detecting on Waymarking.com

Little Sahara State Park is comprised of about 1500 acres of razorback sand dunes. It is a popular destination for four-wheeling and motorcycling. Metal detecting is allowed, and no permit is required. Since there is a lot of motor traffic in the dunes your best prospects will be along the edges. There are several camping sites here as well and quite a bit can be found there. There are plenty of places to park along the east side of the dunes.

We found mostly trash; the most valuable item was a 25-cent piece. Comments about the item found: Nothing much to say, it wasn't even a "state" quarter.
