Koblenz, like many other towns at the river Rhine is affected by floods at the end of the winter. Like most other places here, the high-water marks are shown for extraordinary high levels. This one are placed at the damm at the bench of the Rhine in the district Ehrenbreitstein. They are is different from other flood-markers aropund by their size. They are much bigger than usual
