Long Description:
The obelisk is almost as tall as the jail beside which it stands. It appears to be concrete. The base has the plaques with names of some of the local soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War, and the Spanish American War.

The USA flag and the service flags fly beside the obelisk.
