St. Christopher's held their first worship service on September 30, 1951 in the club house of the Linthicum Women's Club. In 1985 St. Christopher's moved into the building that they still worship in today.

"HISTORY
St. Christopher's held their first worship service on Septemer 30, 1951 in the club house of the Linthicum Women's Club. The church later moved to the corner of Camp Meade and Maple roads, worshipping at that church for the first time on Christmas Eve, 1953. With the call of the Rev. Robert Watson to rector in 1974, a transition to a bigger space began. Sisters Eleanor Linthicum Woodruff and Louise Linthicum Moore donated land and the funding to construct a new church on Marydell Road. In 1985, St. Christopher's moved into the building that they still worship in today. During this long history, the congregation has also established many outreach efforts that enrich and serve the local community, including being a founding member of Arundel House of Hope's Winter Relief."
