Photos taken on 25 August 2021 when it was well over 100 degrees outside. Took advantage of free admission to NPS sites to visit Fort McHenry for the third time. The memorial consists of a bronze plaque. There is a tree which was planted in 1932.

The plaque says, "This tree dedicated to Francis Scott Key who was inspired to write our National Anthem — The Star Spangled Banner — by the flag which flew from Fort McHenry during its bombardment."
