A 20" high by 18" wide by 10" deep plaster bust of Benjamin Franklin is displayed on a shelf at the Redwood Library and Athenaeum. Franklin is depicted from the mid-chest up. He is wearing jacket and an ascot tie around his neck. The bust is set on a circular base. The top of the base has a brass plaque which is inscribed FRANKLIN

A sign next to the sculpture is inscribed:
