Sculpted in 1971 by Texas artist Jim Love (1927-2005). Gifted to UTD in 1976 by Margaret McDermott (1912-2018). Relocated and rededicated by President Richard C. Benson and Student Government (2021). This beloved campus loan was previously located between Jonsson & Gree Hall, as well as in the ATEC Courtyard. The "Love Jack" marks its 45th year on campus at its new home on the North Mall.
