Pulpits in St Michael's church, Beer. The hexagonal pulpit is for the sermon, lessons would be read from the square pulpit. Both date from the construction of the church in 1877.
The hexagonal pulpit is of local beerstone has blind trefoil arcading on marble columns with (presumably) saints heads as small corbels.
The square pulpit of just of beerstone, with decorative blind arcading, in which are small relief sculptures of saints.
