One of the last remaining shot towers in Germany in Barnkrug, a district of Drochtersen in Lower Saxony.
The 42-metre-high tower belonged to the lead works of the "Jagd-Schrot & Hagel-Fabrik Haendler & Natermann". Lead balls were produced here using the hail process and transported to the loading points on the Elbe via a 500 metre long connection to the Kehdinger Kreisbahn.
